Samara is 21 weeks old today. Today I discovered that she likes contorting herself in this awkward looking position. She reminds me of a puppy on its back and all I want to do is scratch her belly.

I picked her up and hung her upside down, which sounds mean and horrible, but I used to do that all the time when I was a baby, so perhaps she picked that habit up from me. She loved it.
Also, we were playing with Sophie the Giraffe and Mr. Owl. You can really see how she anticipates the arrival of the toy near her, and she can see and hear the delight that they bring.
In this video, you can see how much she loves Sophie. When Samara gets excited she swings her arms and they usually hit her own belly. Here, her excitement makes her hit Sophie repeatedly.
I love Samara's squeals in this video. You can also hear the new sound she has been making since she started teething. First she squeals, then she follows that up with an elephant-like sound. It is like she is giving a raspberry, but she blows air through her lips. You can see her starting to do this 18 seconds in, but it is hard to hear it. The most audible one comes at 57 seconds.
